The Energy of Unseen Symbols

As a Feng Shui consultant, one of the services that I provide is Space Clearing. The purpose of space clearing and land blessings are to purify the energies of a place and to rid it of its residual energies. Even when a home is new it is appropriate to bless and feed the land in order to start out with positive chi. Here you are basically asking permission of the land to build upon it. This way you and your family will feel a welcoming energy in your new home.

The actual construction phase can also lend itself to opportunities to enhance the energy of the new home. For example during periods of remodeling or construction, Feng Shui symbols and other positive imagery can be painted on unfinished surfaces. The walls or flooring will later be covered with rugs or tile and the walls will be covered with paint, paneling or wallpaper. No one will see these symbols but they will maintain the frequency of the energy that it represents such as love or health. These are actually blessings that radiate through the home that will manifest as good chi for your family. I like to take pictures and give them to the clients so they can remember what symbols are where and be reminded of how a home’s energy can affect us. Here are some pictures that I took in a large master bedroom. It shows what type of symbols I used and how I laid them out.

This Reiki Love Symbol represents love growing deeper. It was placed in the SW corner of the bedroom	This health symbol was carefully placed  at the entrance to the bathroom where the 2 sickness star resides. The couple deliberately designed the home so that no bedrooms would be in this negative sector. There will be a full door to keep the energy out of the bedroom	This prosperity symbol is in the SE corner of the room.

If you do this for your own home, make sure you investigate what your symbol represents. I am amazed at how often people will even have tattoos that they do not know the meaning of. Symbols have meaning and if you are a believer in the law of attraction, like attracts like, what you give is what you get theories, then you know that if you want more of anything like love, then there should be examples of love in your daily life as well as symbols of love in your home. That goes for prosperity, health and all of life’s aspirations.
